The team leading Peakon have run world-conquering software businesses. What brought them together was a belief that great companies make people their priority.
Phil is co-founder and chief executive at Peakon. Prior to Peakon, Phil was head of technology at some of Europe's most successful startup businesses, including Gumtree, Qype, and Podio. After joining Citrix through the acquisition of Podio in 2012, he went on to lead the company's GoToMeeting product line.
He now enjoys daily interactions with Peakon's customers – incorporating this knowledge into a long-term vision that has so far created one of the most unique and impactful analytics products in the HR market.
After starting his career as an analyst in the City for JP Morgan, Dan decided to put his analytical and quantitative ability to better use in London's nascent startup scene. After playing a pivotal role in growing two of Europe's most successful startups – Songkick and Qype (acquired by Yelp) – he had the epiphany that employees, not customers or product, were the key to business success, and thus Peakon was born.
Dan has an MBA from London Business School, a degree in software engineering, and enjoys cycling in his spare time.
Kasper has built a career on improving how millions of people experience work every day. As a co-founder of Podio, an online collaboration software, he led the company’s early sales growth before becoming overall director of the Podio product line after its acquisition by Citrix in 2012.
In 2015 he took the leap into foundership once more, starting Peakon. As the company's Chief Growth Officer, Kasper draws on his wealth of entrepreneurial experience to lead Peakon’s growth and expansion into new markets. His number one priority, however, is to make Peakon a truly world class workplace – a commitment that has built one of the strongest teams in Europe.
Christian is co-founder and chief technology officer at Peakon. Prior to Peakon, he was lead developer and later CTO of Podio (acquired by Citrix), an online collaboration tool.
He is passionate about bringing ideas to life – building a product out of just dreams, and finding the solutions to the myriad of issues that are run into on the way. Growing from an outstanding software engineer to the leader of two of Europe's finest technology teams, Christian is never short on strong views around how teams can work together and enable their members to perform at their best. Today, his twin interests for building and leading come together to shape the Peakon product.
Neil heads Peakon’s commercial operations from the company’s London offices. The hugely talented team Neil has assembled, lead the transformation of how businesses understand and improve employee engagement through their partnership with Peakon.
Previously, Neil was part of the founding commercial team at Huddle, a leading enterprise content collaboration platform for governments and enterprise. As the company’s chief revenue officer, Neil built teams in multiple regions and oversaw the rapid expansion of a UK basement startup to a global company.
When implementing Peakon at the San Francisco technology company where he was previously Vice President of People, Patrick saw the transformative power of the platform firsthand. He was so impressed, he moved halfway around the world to join the Peakon team in Copenhagen.
Now as Peakon’s Chief Operations Officer, he works to ensure every partnership with Peakon is inspiring and impactful - both internally and externally. A former founding member of the team that established Virgin America, Patrick’s passion for delivering a service that goes above and beyond all expectations can be felt in every employee and customer relationship with Peakon.
Simone is Peakon’s chief financial officer, leading the finance team and helping to guide our ambitious growth plans in a healthy way. Previously a director at King Digital - the creator of Candy Crush - she supported the company to achieve explosive revenue growth, an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, and a subsequent $5.9 billion acquisition by Activision.
Having started her career as a chartered accountant with EY, Simone has previously worked for Yahoo and Fosters Brewing Group, and been CFO at Receipt Bank and TMP.
